Spooktacular Party PTU

Supplies needed for this tutorial:

font of choice, I used Poisoned Apples size 36, you can find this font at http://www.dafont.com/search.php?psize=m&q=poisoned+apples
Tubes of choice, I am using just the elements from the kit.
Template number 119 by Creationz by Sharon, you can download this template here

Let's get started:
Open your template in psp, and hit shift+D to make a new copy and close the original.
Delete the credits.
Go to black shape and select all, float and deflota.
Select paper 3 and then invert, delete and then merge down.
Do the same with the other layers but change the papers from time to time.
*Tip I am making all the rectangles the same color.
Now using your magic wand click inside the frame, and put your tube/tubes in the frame, then hit selections, invert and then delete.
For mine I used the house for inside my frame.
Open Bear 1 and resize to you liking and put in the corner right of the frame.
Open the Halloween kitty cat and resize to about 35 percent and place on the bottom left of your frame.
Open up the Mummy and also resize that one to 35 percent and place on the upper left frame.
Open Witch 2, resize to 35 percent and put on the lower right of frame.
Then open bow 2 and place above the frame.
Now add your text, using colors of choice from your tag.
Now add your credits, merge visible and save, then your done.

The Devil's Tear Drops

This tutorial requires some knowledge of Paint Pro Shop. Please don't tear/rip apart my tutorials.  Please read my TOU for further information. I would love to see your results so please contact me with it so I can put it up in a gallery here on my blog.

Supplies needed for this tutorial:
Paint Pro Shop ( I am using PSPX3 but any version should do)
PTU Scrapkit Devil's Tear Drop by Black Widow's Creations can be purchased at Underground Scraps.
Frame of choice, I am using Image 57 from the kit.
Plugin used Dsb flux-Spiderweb can be found here, must be member to access this part of the forum.
Mask of choice, I am using WSL Halloween Mask 2 by weescotlass creations
Font of choice, I am using Halloween Spider size 24, can be found at http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=803
Tube of choice, I am using Adiene's gargolian daughter GG found at http://dragonslairtubes.com/ must be a member to download the FTU tubes.

Now let's get started:
Open PSP, new image 500x500.
Now flood fill with black.
Open mask.
Now go to layers, mask from image, invert unchecked and apply your mask.
Now we are going to go to effects and apply Spiderweb, please see example below for settings...

Now that you did that open Image 57 and resize to about 55 percent, then using your magic wand click inside your frame and expand to about 4, then open paper 10, paste as a new layer, selection invert and then delete.  Put the paper under the frame layer.

Now add your tube on the bottom of the frame, resize if needed, I am resizing mine to about 50 percent.

Now we are going to add some elements...

If your using my example I am using the following elements...

Image 2 resize to 15 percent and place in the middle of the two frames.

Image 9 resize to about 25 percent and place in the first frame.

Image 26 resize to 15 percent and place on the bottom left of the frame.

Layers duplicate and image mirror.

Now it is time to add your text.  Go to Halloween Spider size 24 and type your text, then we are going to use the spider effect like above, you may pick colors from either you tube or whole tag .

Now your done, add your credits and copyright informations and merge visible and save.  Thanks for doing my tutorial.

Cute As A Bug

Frame of choice, I am using Frame 2 from the kit
Mask WSL 355 by weescotlass creations can be found here
Font of choice, I am using A Yummy Apology size 30 found here
Plugin- Eye Candy Glow (Can be either 3,4 or 6), just google the plugin to find
Tube of choice, I am using Popeye Wong's Soft Breeze, which is free to use and his work can be found at http://popeyewong.com/

Now let's get to work.
Open a new image 600x600, and flood with white, select all, open paper 4 then paste into selection.
Apply your mask and merge your group.
Open frame 2 and copy and paste as a new layer and resize to about 45 percent.
Click inside your frame, modify and expand to about 5 and put paper 1 in it, by selecting invert then hitting delete.
Now do the same with your tube.
Now were going to add some elements around your frame, here is what I used...
Ballon resize to about 35 and paste above your frame in the left hand corner, then duplicate and mirror the image.
Bug 1 resize to about 15 percent put in the lower section of the tag and then duplicate and mirror the image.
Bow1 resize to about 15 percent and put on the bottom of the heart frame.

Now it is time to add your text, A Yummy Apology size 30, use colors from your tag.
Now were gonna make our text glow, using the settings below...

Now add your credits and your done, thanks for doing this tutorial, remember to merge all layers.

Open a new image 500x600.
Pick a dark paper from the kit, flood fill and apply your mask, merging your group at the end.
Open Frame 2, and click inside the frame.
Pick another paper from kit and then go to selection, modify, expand by 4 and then copy and paste as a new layer then invert delete.
Then using your magic wand insert your images inside the frame.
Add some elements of choice in and around your frame and inside the web.
Now using the font specified above, about size 32 add your text and your done.
Remember to add your credits.

Now let's begin our tutorial!!!

Open PSP.
Open new image 500x600.
Now flood fill with a paper from the kit, I am using paper 05, using measurements of choice,I used 0 and 100.
Now apply your mask, and merge your group.
Now open frame 1 from the scrapkit and resize to about 55 percent, the drop shawdow of choice.
Now with your magic wand click inside both and pick a paper from the scrapkit, I using paper 03, then go to invert and then hit delete.
Now unselect it and merge down.
After doing that click inside frame one at a time this time, and put your tubes in.
Now open bow1, resize to about 25 percent and put on all 4 corners of the frame.
Now open butterfly, again resize to about 25 percent and place above the frame and underneath it.
now open flower04, resize to 15 percent and place in the middle of the frame.
now open the tag and resize it ot about 35 percent and place like mine, then add your text, with the colors from your tube/tag.

You will then put the proper copyright information, license number, and all the oher goodies and then merge visible and save and your done.  Thanks for doing my tutorial.

Plugins used: drop shawdow and Xero-Porcelain ( download of this can be found if googled)

Now let's get started with the tutorial!!
Open PSP.
Open new image 500x600, and select all and put put a pattern of choice from the scrapkit into the selection, for the example of the tag we are gonna use pattern 5, then select none.
Apply your mask.
Layers,merge your group.
Now open frame 8 from your kit and resize ot about 60 percent.
Now with your magic wand select inside your frame, making sure that even the part under the ribbon is selected, and then go to modify, expand selection about 4.
Now pick another paper and put it inside the frame, I picked pattern 1, and then invert and delete anything hanging outta the frame.
Now add your tube, you might wanna resize it to fit inside your frame.
Now select the bottom of the tag and place doddle 5 and place behind the frame.

We are now gonna add about 3 different elements around the tag.
Bow 2 copy and paste at the bottom of the ribbon on the frame.
Rose 2 resize to about 30 percent and place in the upper left corner.
Candle 4 place on the other size of the frame.

Now were gonna add the text.
use the porcelain like so

and then dropshawdow like so..

Now were gonna add the word art with the same drop shadow then merge visible,and then add your proper copyrights and license information and your done!!!

Let's get started:

Supplies needed:
A graphic program of choice (I am using Paint Pro Shop X3, but others should work fine with it)
Frame 1 from kit
PTU Scrapkit Emolution 5 can be purchased at http://scrappindollars.com/, must be purchased to use.
Mask of choice I am using a grunge mask by Pinkrose found at http://creativemisfitscreations.blogspot.com/2009/11/grunge-masks.html
Font of choice I am using Accents found at http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=501
Tube of choice, I am using Dean Yeagle's Mandy in Pink and can be purchased at http://www.cdoestore.com/, do not use if you don't have a license number to do so.


Open Paint Pro Shop, with a new image about 500 x 600, you may crop later if desired.
Flood fill with color of choice I am using a pink from my tube.
Open your mask and apply it to your background then merge group.
Open frame 1 and resize to about 70%.
Now using your magic wand click inside frame, modify and expand to about 4, then pick a paper, invert and delete any that hangs outside of the frame. (I picked paper5).
After doing all this, move your paper under the frame and then do the same thing you did with the paper for the tube.
Now open the wordart found in the element section of the kit and resize to your liking and drop shawdow it to whatever you think looks good.

Now the elements:
Bow 5 resize to about 50 percent and place somewhere on the bottom.
Butterfly 1 resize to about 20 percent and put on the left top corner.
Open barbed heart and resize to 20 percnet and place on the bottom right corner.
Now open the star button and resize to 20 percent and place somewhere around the frame, duplicate 2 more times and place around the frame.
Now add your text and your copyright information, and merge together and your done.

Now let's begin our tutorials.

Open psp.
Open new image 700x450.
Flood fill with white.
Open frame 1 from your scrapkit and resize to about 70 percent, select inside frame and go to select all,float and then defloat, then insert paper of choice and then invert delete, then add your tube.
Now add a new layer and then select all and insert another paper of choice, and merge group.
Add some elements, if you wanna make it like mine this is what I used...

Bow 1 resize to about 80 percent
Doodle 3 put right about mask
Flower 1 resize to about 75 percent
Heart 3 resize as desired
Rose4 to your liking

Now add your name using desired font and size, and color and then add your credits and your done.

Mask of choice, I am gonna use is WSL number 353 located here
font of choice, I am gonna use Franklin Goth

Tube of choice I am using psp0219-SCVonLind-Felicity by Baron Von Lind at http://www.mypsptubes.com/index.php?p=catalog&mode=catalog&parent=301&mid=0&search_in=all&search_str=&pg=2, which is free to use.

Now let's get to work:

Open Paint Pro Shop and your template.
Now hit shit+D and make a copy of your template.
Now delete raster 6 and copyrights.
now go to raster 1 select all, and then go to your papers and copy and paste into selection number 1 paper.
Select none and then apply your mask.
then merge group, now close your mask and resize your canvis to about 500 in width.
Now select raster 2 and select all, float and then defloat, and paste a paper in the selection.
Do the same with the copy of raster 2 and the raster 4.
Now we are gonna go to raster 3 and do the same thing only hit invert delete and then select none. (With different color paper this time)
Now do the same with Copy of raster3, and the other oval.
Now do the same with the leaves only use a green color and flood fill it.
Now reselect your oval and then select all, float and then defloat andthen copy and paste your tube, earasing anything outside the tube.
Then select none.

 Add elements of choice,
If you wanna copy mine please use the tag as reference where to put them.
I used:
BFLy1 rsize to about 20 percent and then image duplicated, image mirror.
then flower8 resize to liking.
Then shoe1 resize and place like mine.

Then add your name with the fontFanklin Goth size about 20, with colors from the tag and then add your license number and other credits and your done.

Now let's begin our tutorial..
Open a new image 700 x 600 (we will crop later if needed).

Open your scrapkit and find the frame2, copy and paste as a new layer and resize to 80%.

Now using in your wand select inside frame and expand by 5.

Now open paper 1, copy and paste as a new layer, then invert delete and then move under the frame later, then deselect.

Now using your magic wand again select the frame again and place your tube inside it.

Then go to invert delete and then set it to luminance, then deselect.

Now your gonna add your second tube on the outside of the frame just like it is shown above.

Now we add some elements....

Open element bow 3, copy and paste as a new layer and resize to about 20 percent and place on the frame, add a drop shawdow.

Now add some beads around the frame(these beads can be of your own choosing, and remember to drop shadow)

Now add your text and then we will use the plugin, with these settings above.

Now merge visible and crop, when your done cropping add the credits and the proper copyright and yur done.

PTU Waking Up In Vegas

Now let's begin...

Open a new image 600x550 (We can crop if needed to later).

Open a paper from your scrapkit and flood fill it in Raster 1, I am using paper1 from the freebie kit that goes with this scrapkit.

Now apply your mask.

Layers merge your group and put a drop shawdow on your mask.

Now go to Radience with these settings

Now open frame 5 and resize to about 85 percent and drop shawdow.

Now using you magic wand click inside frame, modify by 4 and place your tube inside your fame, deleting anything outside of it, making it look like it is inside the frame.

Now beside the tube insert element blackjack and resize to about 40 percent and place beside tube.

remember to dropshawdow your tube and all elements.

Now open your red diamond and resize to about 25 percent and place on your frame,duplicate layer and then image mirror (for placing please use my tag as reference.)

Now do the same with bling 3 only physically place on frame each one.

Now on Bling 1 the only differnce is your gonnna duplicate layer 2 times and place by using the image mirror.

Now after you place them and drop shadow each use the radience settings before and apply to each bling, then add/remove noise and add some noise to make it look really good.

I used Random,monochrome checked 47.

Now once again pick a paper from the scrapkit and add your text, using font Passions Conflict size25.

Then use radience and add the noise like before.

Now merge visible and add the proper credits and your done.

Special effects used xero Porcelin.

Now let's begin some fun!!!

Open new image 500x500, transparent.

Open the frame titled forever and place it as a new layer.

Click inside frame and modify,expand by 3, and then pick a paper add as a new layer and then invert, delete the paper that hangs outside of the frame, keep selected.

Now add your tube,change the tube to Luminace, and then select none.

now add your tube again somewhere near the frame.

Now were gonna add some elements....

Open element flower1 and resize by 25 percent and put on top of the frame, add a drop shawdow.

Open element pumpkin and resize and put on the top on the left corner and drop shawdow.

Now do the same with flower 4 and drop shawdow and place on the right corner of the frame and then duplicate it and put it on the lower left hand side of the frame.

Now were are going to go to raster one and select all, then pick a paper and put it in the selection and apply the mask, merge group.

Now we are gonna add some word art, go to your word art section in the scrapkit and pick a word art of your choice.

Now add your name and then were gonna use xero Porcelin with these settings....

Now let's begin our tutorial

Open a new image 500x500.

Open the frame from your scrapkit, resize by 50 percent.

Go to the last layer and select all and paste a paper into the selection and then apply your mask.

Merge your groups.

Then with the magic wand select each frame and put a paper in them and make sure you hit selection invert, delete to get rid of the excess paper.

Now select frame by frame and put your tube/tubes in the squares, resize if needed.

Now put elements  wherever you wish,resize if needed.

Now add your name and then were gonna use a special effect called xero-Porcelain with the settings below.

After doing this add your copyright info., license number and your done.

Now let's get started, open a new image 650x650 transparent (your gonna need this layer later), and flood fill with white.

Now open frame 3 from your scrapkit,copy and paste it as a new layer, resize if needed.

Select your frame with your wand and expand by 3, then copy and paste paper 4 into it, and then invert delete. Then add your tube/poser.

Now go add some elements around the frame, resize if needed. (You may use mine for reference)

Now add your doodle to the top of raster1.

Now go to your raster 1 and select all, go to paper 2 and copy and paste into selection and apply your mask, then merge group.

Close out your mask and resize by 75 percent your tag by merging together all layers and then going to resize and resize to the size above.

Now add your font.. My font isn't funky enough size 25.

Crop to your liking,add copyright information and then your done.

Now let's begin...

Open new image 650 x 650, and flood fill with white.

Then open your frame in the scrapkit.

Now use your wand and select each frame.

Put a paper of choice, I am using paper 2,paste as a new layer, then go to selection invert and delete.

Now select each frame and put your tubes in each frame.

Merge down your tubes.

Open one of the flowers your choice I choosed flowers2 and resized to 65 percent and place it under the frame, then duplicate,image mirror, then merge down.

Now open button 1 and resize to about 10 percent and place somewhere on your tube.

Now bow1 resize to about 25 percent and again place somewhere on your tube.

Now with cupcake1 resize to about 25 percent and then put somewhere on your tag.

Now select raster 1 and then pick a paper and put into selection, then apply your mask.

Layers merge group and then add your name in black, I am using Palace Script MT size 30.

Now add your copyrights and your done.

Don't forget to merge visible.

PTU Na'vi's Earth

Ok now open your template,delete the credits.

Now go to raster 3 and pick a paper from the scrapkit and select all,float and defloat and then copy as a new layer and then invert delete,merge together.

Do the same for the other raster.

Now with your magic wand click inside frame, modify expand by 3, then copy and paste and then invert and then delete.

Nowadd your tube.

Now it is time to add your elements

Open element 12 and resize by 15%, then put a butterfly element inside the bubble, and duplicate a few times.

Now add element 3,resize and place anywhere on your frame and then duplicate it.

Now add your name and copyright information.

Now merge together and add a new layer and then put a paper in selection and apply your mask. Merge group then merge together and your done.

resize the top if needed, to see some of your mask.

Open new image 600x600.
Select all and put a paper of choice in the selection ( I picked paper2), selection none and apply your mask then merge group.
Open frame 1, resize copy and paste as a new layer,duplicate,mirror the image and then merge down.
Now with your wand select both frames and put a paper of choice in it, I am using paper 1, then do add your tube in the frames by copy and paste as a new layer and then duplicate, shawdow of choice to both tubes, and then select none.
Now with that done we will add some elements.
Open the stpaddysdaybear and resize by 15 percent and add anywhere to your tag.
Now open bow1 and resize the same way, only duplicate,image and then mirror like mine.
Now add your text and then drop shawdow and then your done!!

Now let's begin our tutorial today.
Open a new image 460x460 in Paint Pro Shop, flood fill with a color from the tube(I am using color number #5e3a4e. or select all, and insert a paper of choice into selection and apply your mask.
Open the fence and resize to about 35 percent, copy and paste as a new layer, colorize it to a goldish color.
Open the frame and resize to about 35 percent and put above the gate, once there go back to the gate and erase anything outside of the frame.
Go to your tube and place inside the frame,resizing if needed to.
Now select the frame with the wand,selections modify expand by 5 and paste a paper and then hit invert delete to get rid of anything outside of the frame. Put the paper above the mask layer.

Now time to add some elements.
Select bfly1 resize and put somewhere on your tag.
do the same with bfly2.
Select bow1 and resize to about 25 percent and place on the frame, erase any that is hanging inside the frame and on the outside of the frame.
Now pick flower 1 and resize to about 25 percent and place on the bottom of the frame.

Now it is time to add some text.
Type in your name using font Magnificat size 24.
and now use the xero Porcelain settings like below..

Now let's begin this tutorial....

Open your mask, and tubes in PSP.
New image 600x600.
On that layer flood fill with a red and apply your mask.
Layers merge group.
Open your frame from the scrapkit, and paste as a new layer resize if needed.
Layers duplicate your frame and place under the original one and merge together.
Select both frames with your wand and put a paper of choice in frame,invert and delete anything out of the frames. ( I am using paper 6), with the paper we are gonna use the plugin Porcelain, with these settings:

Place paper under the frame, put your tube into the frames. (resize if needed).

Place the tubes in your frames,resizing if needed.

Now it is time to add some elements.

Select bow 1 and resize it about 35 percent and place on top of the frame.

Select heart 4 and resize to liking and place on the side of the frame.

Select shoe1 and resize to your liking,dulplicate image and place beside the other and place on the right corner of the frame.

Do the same with shoe 2, place on the bottom of the left corner and the upper right corner.

Open zipper heart4 and resize about 15 percent and place on the upper left corner.

Now add your text with your choice of colors. Then Porcelain it and your done.

Remember to crop after merging visible.

Now let's begin this tutorial

Open your template, and delete the credits.
On the star line select all float and defloat and flood fill with a color of choice I am gonna use yellow.
Then go to your Eye Candy Gradient Glow with these settings:

Do the same thing only with a brighter yellow for your bigger stars.

Now were gonna go to the black rectangle and select all,float and defloat, pick a paper from your scrapkit and copy,paste and then invert delete,then merge down.
Do the same as above with the others, until we get to the background. (When you get to the pentagon that is where you will add your tube)
Now that were at the background select all and put a paper of choice in the selection and then apply your mask, then merge group.

Add elements of choice, you may follow mine if you wish,remember resize if needed.  Remember to drop shawdow

Now add your name using font Just Realize size 25 and then pick to make fit.
Then the Gradient Glow again, to your liking.

Now let's begin:

Open PSP, new image 750x750.
New layer and flood fill with a paper from your scrapkit. ( I picked paper1)
Apply mask 168,merge group.
Open element 1, resize to 10 percent and copy and paste as a new layer.
Duplicate 3x's putting them like mine. Once you have that done,close out your mask and merge visible.
Now with your wand select each frame and add a paper of choice (I am using paper pp1), now remember after pasting as a new layer you must hit invert,delete to make it look right.  After that is done, close out the frame and the mask and merge visible again, then put the papers below the frame. Now do the tubes the same way, and merge them also. 

Now were gonna add some elements:
Select babyfairy_Element1 and resize it to 10 percent and place it in the middle ofthe frames,sharpen and dropshawdow of choice.
Now pick babyfairy_Element3 and resize to 15 percent and place beside the edge of both frames like mine, dropshawdow of choice.
Now element 28 and resize and place on the bottom of the frame, you will have to use the pick tool to rotate it too look like mine.
Element 5 on the edge of bottom of frame like mine.

Now add your name and your done, if you used PTU Artist please remember your credits and license information.

Supplies needed:
PSP Program
Plugins- Eye Candy 5 Impact Extrude
Scrapkit Chances Are Tagger by BabyVDezign,this is a PTU and can be bought here.

Font of choice:Kozuka Mincho Pro L
Tube of choice, I am using FTU  Moonlight Serenitas by Ann Rigby which you can find her website here

Now let's begin:

Open a new image 400x400 transparent.
On a new layer flood fill a color of choice, I am picking a nice blue from the tube.
Open mask and apply your mask.
Layers merge group. Increase the size of the mask.
Open Frame2 and resize to about 15 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the left side of the tag. Duplicate, image mirror. Merge down and then resize again about 95 percent this time.
Pick a paper from the kit, I picked paper 4.
With your wand, select your frames and paste the paper into selection, then select none.
Now resize your tube to your liking and put it in the frame, duplicate your tube and then image mirror and place beside the other tube.
Now add some elements, you can do mine as followed:
Butterfly 1 resize by 35 percent and place somewhere near the frame then image duplicate and mirror.
Flowerstamp 2 and place between the two frames.
Heartpillow resize by 35 percent and place somewhere near the bottom of the image duplicate and then image mirror.
Now go to the bottom of the layer where your mask is and place the bubbles on the mask. Rotate as seen on image using your pick tool, and then duplicate and image mirror then merge together.

Now place your name, using colors from the image and place where it can be seen, and then use eye candy 5 impact Extrude with these settings:

Now that were done with this add your credits,watermark, merge together and save!!!

FTU Patriotic

If you would like you can link my tutorial to your site.  Now let's begin this tutorial.  This tutorial is for people that have knowlege of Paint Pro Shop and it's tools.

Materials needed:
PSP Program, I am using X3 but any other versions will do
FTU Patriotic scrapkit by Cryene, you may find her wonderful scrapkit here
Template number 104 located here
Mask 454 by Vix you can get it here
Plugins used Eye Candy 3 Gradient Glow and Bevel
Tube of choice I am using USAElliebear by Ellibabe, you can find her tube at http://PSPTube.Depot.com
Font of choice, I am using Edward Script size 25

Now let's begin!!!
Open template 104, and then delete the credits.
Select your stripes and color them with one of your papers from the scrapkit using select all, float and then defloat and then invert and delete.
Select the stars and select all and flood fill them with blue.
Then go to effects and select eye candy gradient glow with these settings:

Do the same for the larger stars.
Now on the Top stars do the same thing only change the color to yellow.
Now we are going to do the backs, pick a color from the scrapkit select all, float and then defloat and then invert delete.
Now were gonna do the Frames around the backs, select all, and then float. Then flood fill with a red.  Now the the Eye Candy again you gonna do the Bevel with the settings below:

Now it is time for your wordart.  Select all, float and then defloat and then pick another paper and then invert and then delete and then use your eyecandy gradient glow.
Now it is time to merge your frame and your backs. Then select all and add your tube of choice in each frame.  Drop shawdow of choice your tube.

Now add your text, using a paper from your scrapkit, and then do the eyecandy gradient glow settings as before.  Now remember to add all credit and copyrights and your done, and to merge all layers.

PTU Sexy Grunge

This tutorial was created by Amanda Carter on June 26th of 2011. Any resemble to this tutorial is purely by accident.

Materials Needed:
Paint Pro Shop (I am using version X3.)
Scrapkit Sexy Grunge, this is a PTU scrapkit, you must have a license to use. You may find this scrapkit at this location.
Mask used is in this tutorial is Gems Mask 111 and can be found at this site http://Gemstagginscraps.blogspot.com.
Template I am using is called Star created by Vivian and dowloadable at this site http://creativemisfitscreations.blogspot.com/2011/06/new-templates.html.
Tube of choice I am using one of Anna Rigby's creations titled Nadya Tonya and her work can be found here at this site http://www.annarigby.com/
Font of choice I will be using...

Now let's begin our tutorial.

Please open your template, and close out the credits.
Select the yellow square and then select all, float and then defloat.
Then you will open your scrapkit and choose a paper ( I did paper 20, if you want it to look like mine, then find the papers I am using in the scrapkit or choose your own.)
 and then copy and paste, then paste as a new layer, hit invert and then delete. 
Then you will merge down.
Alittle hint you might wanna make all the star whites the same color I personally used paper 2.  Do the same with the stars also using Paper 18.

You will then do the same for the rest of the template until you are finished with the wordart, now with the wordart I have chosen paper 05.
We are then gonna add some gradient Glow using eye candy Gradient Glow from the impact collection number 5.
Here are the settings I am using..

If you can not see the settings real well they are
Glow Radius 10.00
Soften Corners 15.00
Opacity 100
Distort 12
Distort Lump 53
Gradient 49.

Then we will add the tube.
We will head back to the bottom where the square was and again select all, float and then defloat.
You will then copy and paste your tube, resize if needed.
I had to resize mine to 55%, then merge down.

We will now add some of the elements.
 I am gonna add element 03 to the first star resizing it to 25 percent.  I am putting it in the first star and the 3rd star.
Now I am gonna add another element. I am choosing element candle 1 and putting it in the second star, you might need to resize this one also. ( I resized mine to 40%).
This same candle I am putting in the other one also.
Now in the other 2 stars pick something different and make sure you resize them.
I am using element Charm01 and Charm02 in the other.
You will then merge them all.

Now it is time to add your text.
On a new layer type your text using colors that will stand out.
I am using Meiryo, size 26, using the colors from the wordart.
Then using the same settings are you did with the wordart go to your eyecandy 5 Impact Gradient Glow and then hit ok.
Layers merge visible, crop if needed.
